RDLV FAQ

Frequently asked questions...and the answers to those questions.

Who owns RDLV Films?

RDLV Films is a certified majority woman owned business. Macy Harrell is the founder and majority owner. She also serves as the company’s executive producer. Chris Pickup is the minority owner and also serves as the company’s creative director and lead editor.

Who else works for RDLV Films?

Macy and Chris are the only two full time employees, however we have been working in the film and video industry for a combined 20+ years and have developed a vast and growing network of the most talented and diverse filmmakers and videographers in the area.

Do you offer discounts for non-profits?

Yes. 25% off for non-profits. Period. We feel strongly about being of service to our community and this is the most impactful and direct way we know how to do it.

Do you offer extended payment terms?

Yes. For projects over $6K we offer a 50/30/20 split. 50% up front followed by 30% sixty days after completion and the remaining 20% 90 days after completion. All other projects are 50% up front followed by 50% sixty days after completion.

Who owns the project after it is completed?

You do! RDLV reserves the right to use the footage and projects for marketing and promotional purposes. However, we will not hold your footage or your projects hostage. You paid for them. They belong to you.

What does a typical budget look like?

Budgets are dependent upon scale and complexity. We have executed projects of all shapes and sizes, but we are always up front and transparent with our costs and capabilities. We usually like to kick things off with a 30 minute chat to ask and answer questions, get to know one another and figure out the best approach in order to achieve maximum success for your investment. After that, we follow up with a written proposal. After the proposal is agreed upon we send an invoice and the rest is history.
